    Danke für Eure Hilfe. Als ich meinen Viren Scanner deinstallierte Kaspersky, u. im Bios Staren vom LAN aktiviert hatte lief das Windows 10 Update einwandfrei durch.

    Did not work for me. The download started and finished ok, but the install failed. Now when I get new updates, Windows update shows the Windows 10 Icon and says its downloading / installing. It's actually doing the current update, ie. Microsoft Security Essentials definitions.

    I give up! I'll stay with Win 7.

    Thanks, Jose! It worked for me. Windows 7 Home Premium,Svc. Pk. 1. Prior to using your formula,Windows 10 failed 4 times. I hope this helps others.
