When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

"Get it now": One would believe that if someone was reinventing the wheel and it didn't turn, they'd realize they need to revert back to what worked previously, instead of still trying to make it turn. As mentioned, if you were composing an email, the new system could be beneficial. However, why it's taking well over half a year for some so called computer specialist to figure this flaw out, is at the least, unacceptable and frustrating. I had previously asked if we just couldn't remove Windows Live Mail and revert back to Outlook or Outlook Express (until this problem was corrected). I never did receive an answer from Microsoft. Who would ever think that when you depress "Forward" the original email would be crucified! I fail to see the reasoning or intent behind that manuver!

I agree with shrpshtr. What is the problem.  This was working OK until you changed everything.  Just put us back to where we were before all you so called experts screwed every thing up.  It seems that if you broke it you should be able to fix it.  What is taking so long.

Sadly, whomever designed this had "zero" thought as to whom may be utilizing it. Not all of us are "computer savy specialists" and this gives a whole new meaning to the word "Forward". A better term would be "crucify & send on". I (and numerous others) could see it if you were initially composing a e-mail, but to destroy an e-mails original "intact" intent by purposely re-configuring it , is just wrong. Why should anyoine have to "work around", bring up photo albums, options and tools to "convert" something  that's already there in it's original entity? JMHO

This is currently by design. Sending images from your local folders will produce Photo e-mail. To workaround this, click on the image in the body of the message. That should bring up the Photo Album Tools options in the Format tab on the ribbon. Click it and then click the Paper clip button in the ribbon to convert the Photo e-mail to file attachments. You can also attach the files from a new message as I've mentioned in my previous post.

Sending the e-mail via your e-mail provider's site should also serve as a workaround. Thanks. As for other workarounds using Live Mail, we only have sending the images as file attachments to work with. Please stand by for further updates on this.
