Out of Paper Error When there is Paper

My computer is giving me an error that my printer is out of paper and it is not.  It has done this with three different printers.

Disable BiDirectional on the Port tab of printer properties

    My printer gives me the message that it is out of paper though it has Paper but it does not print

    I know this is an old thread but recently ran into this issue and simply stopping and restarting the Print Spooler service resolved it for me.

    That only solves it for a day or 2 (depending on the amount of printing being done).

    I have the same issue with a Windows 2012 R2 server and a Kyocera FS-C2526MFP.

    I also have some more of these "weird" printing problems with Windows 2012 R2.

    Some of our HP printers go Offline for no reason and only start working again after a full restart of the server.

    Used different drivers, installed them new etc.. but at best it works again for a few days before the trouble starts again.

    W2012R2 is not very good with printing.
