wow, I cannot believe that so many others have had this exact problem before.
Sounds like one amazing CF to sort out and get things right again. Makes me kind of angry that all the years I have had to deal with this is inherent in the system and I have to jump though massive hoops to stop this stoopid updating from taking over my
machine. I can see it sucking gobs of data through the network and I will try waiting it out, but MAN it is a mess. It stopped some months ago and since the last update windows did, it has totally destroyed my CPU's processing power (videos skip, I can't
type without it interfering).
Other folks have thought I was insane or had installed something screwy or had malware. Glad to know it is a real problem inherent in the system and I have some suggestions on how to fix it from the community here. Thanks to those of you with expert knowledge
that are trying to help us NOT so savvy users find a solution.
