My volume control button has dissapeared from the bottom right hand corner of my screen - how can i get it back?

Dont Worry....... Just rightclick on taskbar---->properties----->select Notification Area Tab--------->In system Icon select "volume" ................I hope it will help u........

    Hi paulahough,

    The taskbar is usually located at the bottom of your screen. It is where you find the Start Orb.

    It wouldn't allow me to click on volume, it was grayed out.

    i did as  indicated  but it wont work it wont let me click on it what's next ?

    Am still using XP and there is no TAB for Notification area, just a choice of clock or eliminate inactive icons.

    WHAT IS XP solution?
