If it does not load the setup disc set it no.1 in bios boot or go in multi-boot and then select the disc drive.
blue screen memory management, driver fail
original title: bsod, blue screen of death, memory management, driver fail
I have just built a new PC, by ordering everything off scan.org.uk. Ever since I have first loaded up the PC it has frequently crashed on start-up. The desktop will show, then either a tone will play through the speakers and it will blue screen, or a box will come up informing me that a program has crashed (ipoint.exe, ccc.exe and others). The most common bsod is memory management, but there have been others. The computer ONLY crashes on start-up, and never when it has successfully loaded up. This problem does not appear every time I boot up, but it is still really annoying. Sometimes, after crashing, windows says it cannot restart and goes into start-up repair, this restores windows and then runs chkdisk. Sometime, but rarely, chkdisk will remove 2 or 3 registry keys and replace them. Please help, this is SO annoying.

2010-07-28T20:28:33+00:00 I have had this before it was in registry.
I did a back-up.
And did windows setup (reinstall).
Unless you want to use regedit, but it can take longer to use regedit just reinstall.

Does not appear on the list but thats does not mean the memory will not work, you may need to do some BIOS tweaking to eliminate the errors.

2010-07-28T19:27:22+00:00 Hi,
Even though the sticks should be matched they may not be which can be a problem with
high speed memory.
Since you can't put DDR3 memory in a motherboard that does not support it that is not
likely. Check with the motherboard maker for low level chipset and memory controller
drivers updates and for any known issues and solutions.
Checked that memory spec and the motherboard is supposed to fully support it. Are you
over-clocking the system? If so stop that until you get it stabilized.
Read the review on the right side here which seems similar to your issue.

Gigabyte will also have a QVL for approved RAM manufactures and part numbers.
