System backup error [0x80041321]

a) Go to Computer

b) Access OS (C:)

c) Click on Windows

d) Open System 32

e) Click on Tasks

f) Open Microsoft

g) Click Windows

h) Open WindowsBackup folder

i) Delete Automatic Backup

j) Delete Windows Backup Monitor task

k) Go back to the Control Panel

l) Click on Back up your computer

Tried a - l above... worked fine. Still get the following:

Task image is corrupt or has been tampered with (Error 0x80041321)

I have grown to passionately hate Windows 10, and the constant reminders, and Microsoft's failure to offer meaningful support to those of us who prefer Windows 7 on our desk top computers. 

It's as if nobody at corporate HQ want to hear.

YES! You are absolutely right rpthorn. Big corporation punishing little people like you and me for not liking their latest IDIOCY they called windows 10. They haven't learned the lesson from last century!

And this is the reason: Not enough competition to teach MS a lesson they never forget! and all about capitalism being an economic system of fairness is a load of BS!

Very Good. Pay heed when everybody says to back up your files when updating in Windows. I updated Windows 7  to Windows 10 and paid the price of losing all of my files. I lost all of my saved files along with years of favorites. I updated to Windows 10 and went back to Windows 7 and had the same problem with the back up issue of the error message however your method worked to get the back up working again. I had no luck of retrieving my lost files after reverting back to Windows7. Back it all up before you push the button. Windows has a lot of issues to be dealt with. Thanks for your advice with the  back up problem, worked great.
