Ctrl c not working

Hello, somehow I have managed to disable the shortcuts for cutting and pasting. I can only do it manually through the menu bar. I cannot Ctrl C or Ctrl V anymore - nothing happens! What have I done? Please help.

Annoying problem if you rely 100% on keyboard shortcuts!  I had the same problem and the fix is very easy.  You will need to uninstall your keyboard driver and restart your computer and your CTRL keys will function once again.  To do this:

1)  Click Start

2)  Control Panel

3)  Printers and Other Hardware

4)  Keyboard

5)  In the Keyboard Properties window, click Hardware

6)  Click Properties

7)  Click Driver

8)  Click Uninstall, click OK

9)  Restart your Computer

 Thank you for your reply back!

 Is this only happening in Microsoft Word or does this also occur in other programs like 'Notepad"?  I went to Microsoft Word support and am showing commands listed below.  Again, if only happening within Word, I would suggest going to site listed.

Character and paragraph formatting

To do this Press
Copy formatting from text. CTRL+SHIFT+C
Apply copied formatting to text. CTRL+SHIFT+V

    I tried a million ways. Tried different keyboard drivers for my HP Probook 6460b. Still ctrl key combinations don't work (ctrl+c, ctrl+x, ctrl+v, ctrl+a, none of them works!). But when I press ctrl+Fn+c, it works!(ctrl+fn+anykey works like ctrl+any key). Not sure how to resolve this problem!

    I don't think it is. 

    I use OpenOffice and not Microsoft Office due to amount of unreliable updates. The last Windows 10 update (a rather large one at that) added this bug on mine which is an absolute disgrace as I can no longer copy and paste descriptions into my webpages for new items to sell. You either have to type out in full or use CTRL+V as this is the only way which it will accept.

    I often wonder if Microsoft is run by a bunch of imbeciles! Before anyone starts defending them, as someone who has worked in the IT industry originally at IBM on model XT's I unfortunately have had to put up with Microsoft bugs for the last 29 years !

    Removing driver does not work.

    Registry editing does not work.

    Right clicking the start button and choosing any admin option no longer works

    Get a grip Microsoft
