Hi. I am trying to listen to an Overdrive protected audio file from a
local public library.
When I try opening the ODM file in Overdrive Media Console, for
delivery of the full media file, I get the error "Unable to aquire a license to play the selected title. The requested license is either invalid or already aquired"
I get an other error when I try to
get the "Security Upgrade" for WMP11.
I am using Vista 64 bit on a HP a67oof, WMP11, IE8
Overdrive media console is 16bit software so I dont know if thats why I cant get it work???

Using Internet Explorer worked!
Everything else that was suggested above failed. Deleting files in that DRM folder caused other error messages so I restored them immediately.

Follow these instructions:
I have the same issue as above. I click OK on the update page. But WMP does not open, does not connect.
I clicked on the link above to contact OverDrive.Its a dead link (could be because post was over 2 years old) Even trying to contact them for support from their site it refers me back to local library.
Very frustrating that above was posted on march 12, 2009 and this is still a problem.
