How do I disable Windows 7 Magnifier all together? It have the check box unchecked for starting at startup but my mouse button still starts it. I use to use that button for something else and Windows will not let me map it to the other application.
Any help would be appreciated.

Give this a try:
Click on the Start button
All Programs
Accessories
Ease of Access Center
Then click on 'Make the computer easier to use' near the bottom.
Then unchecked 'Turn On Magnifier'. Hit OK and you're done.

Okay, here's what finally worked for me tonight. I did the Ease of Access thing, where it shows four functions (start mag, start on-screen keyboard, start narrator and set up hi contrast) and you can check to "always read this section aloud" and Always scan this section". UNCHECKED both of these, magnifier still came back. Next, below this section there is a highlighted link says "Make the computer easier to see". Click on that and you'll see that Turn on Magnifier is ALSO CHECKED HERE! Uncheck, and restart and you should be god.
I was replying to a response posted by Kevin, with Microsoft, on August 25, 2013 (previous page). For me, turning off the magnifier, is not enough, because before long, it will be back. If It was like a program, I would just remove it!!!!!
That's very interesting, but I did that same thing,and the magnifier keeps popping up, when I didn't ask for it. It wrecks what I'm doing, and keeps making the print too large or too small, and the only way to turn it off is to go back into settings. But that only helps temporarily. I just want the darn thing off my PC. That feature should be available to users, at their request.
For me, the magnifier is mapped by default to the right side mouse button on my mouse. If you go into the control panel (Windows 7), select "mouse", then select "Click here to change Microsoft mouse settings", that will launch the Microsoft mouse and keyboard center. I disabled the "right side button" (near the bottom) and that resolved the problem for me. I was accidently hitting the right side button which launched the magnifier which I found quite annoying.
