Has anyone had the problem with XP getting the data to the machine? I used your file (thanks Stefan) and got the data to load but for some reason starting in the last week or so the data isnt getting to the machine. Loaded the software on my Windows 7 main computer and was able to transmit the data. Did an update take place in XP or AVG that prevents the data from transfering to the machine? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Can you help trouble shoot Sharper Image Internet Weather Station EC-WS115?
I got this as a gift. It came without a software disk. After emailing customer support I got a link to the the following software:
http://www.box.net/shared/static/6o8ihesobp.exe
I downloaded this software. It brings up the software images on my screen ... I can enter my home location in the software ... but the software never connects to the internet ... so I star all over again. The installation and troubleshooting guide for this software can be found at:
This gadget is supposedly compatible with Windows 7. I am running Windows 7 Pro on my HP Computer.

2012-06-07T05:08:12+00:00 Okay, I've found out that there was a second server giving wrong data. Somehow the software decides which server to go to, I think... anyway, I'm routing server3 now also to server 1. Please download the latest executable and give it a try.
Stefan.

2012-06-07T04:18:48+00:00 Sorry for not being more instructive there.... Yes you should substitute the original application.
I've now uploaded the executable, to make it easier to copy without having to subtract it first.
It can be found at:
http://www.fraservalleysoftware.com/download/5-day forecast.exe
- Stop the "5-day forecast" application by right-clicking on the Sunny-icon in your system tray and select "EXIT".
- Locate the original application, it's (depending on where you installed it) in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\5-Day Forecast\5-Day Forecast
or
C:\Program Files\5-Day Forecast\5-Day Forecast
or anything like that.... if you cannot find it, another way is to right-click on the shortcut to the application, as the folder will be showing in the "Start in" field.
- If you want to keep your original file (and I guess you should), rename the file "5-day forecast.exe" to something like "5-day forecast original.exe"
- Download the executable and copy the file "5-day forecast.exe" to the location where the original file was. You might be asked to give Administrator permission.
- After starting the application, go to Setting and it should show the version number as "V1.02b (FVS)".
Hope this helps!
