There are several issues that can cause this and other problems that lead to the Appcrash error. There is another post that has several steps to troubleshoot the issue, try those steps and see if they help.

Greetings,
I had Vista 64 and now upgraded to Windows 7 64bit. 80% of my games crash on load.
As other I have googled the shiznit out of this, it seems most people crash some time into a game, I crash without the thing loading at all.
My setup.

Qx9770 (I run clocked and not clocked, all modes crash)
Asus Striker II Extreme motherboard

Windows 7 (64 bit)

Number of Logical Video Cards: 2 (SLI and NO SLI, still crash)

These games run off Steam mainly but also games not in steam crash.
Fallout 3
Halfllife 2
Ghostbusters
JadeEmpire
MassEffect
Mirror's Edge various others.
Surprisingly Crysis works, Company of heroes also.

2012-07-08T02:08:15+00:00 If your system is just starting to crash, I would first ask what has changed. Dont say nothing, cause if nothing has changed, then that would mean you are not useing your computer at all and have not powered it on at all. What hardware do you hvae, what has changed, how long have you been running on that Windows install? That would be int first information I would want to know.

As you most likely have a different problem to the original thread (or the suggestions already offered would have worked for you) you should create a new thread.

Give full details of what is, or is not, happening including error messages, your system specifications, what games you are have a problem with, and anything else you think may be relevant.
