My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart. Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)
Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)
Then click OK.
Does it come back?

ok so i just tried it again. pressing caps lock definitly brought the taskbar back. waaayyy easier than these other "fixes"
hey something i tried that worked once(hopefully again) is hitting the caps lock button. i was going for control shift escape but accidentally hit cntrl shift caps lock and it appeared. hope this works

This may not fully solve the problem, but it may be worth trying the following method.
Press Windows logo key / Ctrl+Esc to see if the Start menu appears. When the Start menu appears, the taskbar might appear as well. If the Start menu appears, but the taskbar doesn't, try pointing your mouse to the area where the taskbar would be, and see if it then appears after that. If this doesn't work, try using Alt+Tab to switch windows. When a new window is selected, the taskbar might appear. If this doesn't work, try using Windows Flip 3-D (press Windows logo key+Tab) to switch windows (you must have a computer that supports Windows Aero, though), and see if it then appears after that.
If the Start menu didn't appear at all after pressing Windows logo key / Ctrl+Esc, it might be worth browsing through Help and Support (press Windows logo key+F1 to open) to see if there is anything useful there.

I found I must first enter the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), and under the Processes tab - end the 'explorer.exe' process. Only then can I enter the Run menu (also in the Task Manager itself) and begin a new process by the same name.
After that - all is back to normal =)
