notification bell and rewards icons missing in microsoft start default page on edge

since few days, the notification bell icon (rated/answered comments from media articles, new followers, etc ), smartphone icon and microsoft reward icon in the top-right corner of edge default home page (the one with daily news, weather, etc) all vanished, i have only the parameters icon available.

all notification are checked "on" in microsoft start config page.

and the icons appear without problems in the differents press articles pages, the missing icons problem seems to occur only in the edge new tab default page.

how to get the icons back???

    same for me, but i just found, they were moved in the top-right corner of the widget page inner window

    Didn't noticed it until i get new notification, but seems the bell disappear again after you read the notifications, so if you missed something, you can't reread again. maybe a bug.

    I don't even get that notification. But notifications are turned on but absolutely nothing shows up.

    I spoke too soon. 😩

    The bell icon has once again disappeared and I'm getting no notices of replies to comments I've made.

    finally its seems the problem solved itself today.

    Likely an update, or maybe it was a CMD repair command i used to check and repair windows corrupted files after some annoying blackscreen freeze

    sfc /scannow

    and

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    since edge is a windows integrated app, maybe the command solved the icons issue at the same time.

    Yup. Same issue here after the past week or so. Only the gear icon. I can't reply to anything or see any comments from any article. Does this have something to do with the rampant election bots in every comment section?
