How can I get Edge to restore all the tabs I had open last session?

I did a CTRL H in the blank Edge Window, clicked on a recently closed page and a new Edge window opened with all the missing tabs restored.

I have in previous posts said what the problem is, I want MS to stick to the rules and leave our tabs alone not make us play hunt the tabs.

I just had a very nice Christmas present! I got a notification of the above post on another thread which is also entirely about restoring lost tabs (Why can't Edge just have a "Restore Previous Session" button available - Microsoft Community), and where I also posted my solution, and, as you can see they have just used it, and successfully recovered 1000 of their tabs they had lost!! 😁😁😁.

Just thought I'd let you know, just in case you might reconsider looking at those couple of points I was asking you about on my last post trying to find out why it didn't work for you, as I just cannot work out why it wouldn't. But, have a fantastic Christmas anyways!!

Keep in mind that memory and storage are separate things. You can have Chrome installed and it will not use any memory if it's not running. Even if it is running and uses memory, Windows is *supposed* to do a great job of managing memory by swapping un-needed memory to storage as needed. On my average surface pro, I have both installed and I get reasonable perf.
