Edge keeps crashing in Windows 11. I have already tried quite a few troubleshooting steps suggested here and it's still not fixed. The last suggestion I received before reinstalling Windows is to reinstall Edge. (Not repair/reinstall from the Add/Remove Programs menu, I've already tried that). I did this but it doesn't look like it worked. When I opened Edge after the reinstall all my tabs re-opened and I just don't think the reinstall worked correctly. Is there a way to uninstall Edge completely and then reinstall it? The option is grayed out in the Remove programs menu.

Followed the instructions all the way to the Powershell. However when I typed in .\setup.exe -uninstall -system-level -verbose-logging -force-uninstall and hit enter all it did was return to the original prompt.
(Yeah it's an older thread) You're kidding right? You bought your COMPUTER, but when you started using Windows you clicked on the EULA. Don't like it? Switch to linux. MS can tell you to go pound sand as it is their product and you have an agreement to use it. You don't own it.
I agree 100%. Let me know and people and I in my rather large circle will take part as we are already fed up with this Spyware being forced onto us against our will. I can't count how many times I have uninstalled this malware from my machine and it comes back like something worse than herpes.
Actually, if you've paid attention to the issue at all, Microsoft has been trying to force us to use Edge. That's what my complaint is about and why I want to remove Edge. I get that they're using Edge as a GUI manager for many of the internal Windows apps, etc. What I'm having an issue with is, like you said, they didn't/don't have to use Edge for that purpose exclusively. Most importantly to me, though, is that Microsoft keeps hijacking my Chrome settings and tabs then importing them into Edge...AND THEY KEEP REMOVING CHROME AS DEFAULT BROWSER AND CHANGING THAT TO EDGE.
I paid my $200 for Windows. They got their damned money. They have no business changing MY settings every damned time they do any kind of update to any related apps. I could understand if they were actually giving Windows out freely, no charge. I'm not okay with Redmond continually pushing the limits in order to double dip.
I just want to uninstall it because I use the beta (edge for business), which is a lot more handy to separate personal from business sessions. But stupid teams keeps opening links on the standard edge. I want to uninstall it. I can't.
I am on Windows 11 22H2, which is supposedly include changes to comply with EU's Digital Markets Act and should have included the ability to uninstall edge. Perhaps, MS won't learn until they get a big fine from the EU.
