E Tree points and ranking not syncing up between mobile and desktop.

Hi guys, Ive been participating in the Microsoft weather E Tree program for quite a while now and i've just noticed that my points and rank arent synced up between my mobile weather app and my desktop edge browser webpage. Ive just broken into the top 50 and yet my name doesnt appear in the top 50 list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt710,

As per Anonkj's reply, the thread that talks about hacking and some more information on the web, following possibilities:

  1. Microsoft has stopped the program but not yet removed it - may come back with revamped version
  2. The hacking that happened in ranking caused Microsoft to freeze the last correct rank list. - So your present rank of 13 is against the frozen rank list and not the real updated scenario. My rank is 12 as of today. Once Microsoft allows the current actual rank list to be visible and updated again - we'll get our real rank and that may be much below 50 (I feel).
  3. There is some bug in the program and Microsoft is yet to correct it.

Hope they at least plant the trees that we all have virtually grown.

    Interesting how we are not all experiencing the same problems universally. Mine has been reset everyday for about the last 10 days now. And just now its gone 4pm in the UK and i cant claim the last 200 point bonus, i click on it and it just reappears without adding the points. The 8 am and the 12pm bonuses i claimed no problem.

    It is getting reset but not everyday. I am on day 2 today. It got up to 4 days streak last time before going back to day 1.

    Sounds like you could be right then, fingers crossed his will appear too. Are you having the same issue where the mobile apps are resetting your daily bonus streak back to day 1 everyday?

    The program is available in India and UK and few other countries as per their faqs. I am not sure about the app though. I changed my region to India and the icon disappeared, when I changed back to UK, it was there.
