Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10

Hello,
I'm having issues with the new Microsoft edge playing 360/vr videos in WMR. First of all, to get an option to play vr video I have to go through that app "360 videos" in the cliff house. Finding a 360 video via youtube in edge directly doesn't work because the goggle icon on the bottom of the screen is missing. However, if I start any of the offered 360 videos via the cliff house 360 video app, that opens youtube video in the edge, and now the goggle icon is present. This allows me to play VR videos, but really this doesn't work either because the videos are very choppy. I did not have this issue prior to the new edge installation. I'm using Samsung Odyssey+. Any suggestions to solve this issue?

After looong trial and error,.....
Start with a reboot, Googles HDMI connected, USB disconnected (after completed boot),....plug in Goggles (USB), .......
Make sure Mixed Reality Portal NOT running and controllers are not connected to your computer (bluetooth)
On Desktop, run Microsoft Edge> go to youtube select a 360 video, you'll see the Goggle Icon , click it to enter VR,
now Mixed Reality Portal will start, ....put on your Goggles and enjoy the video.
After that you can select any other 360 video and it will work as long as all control stays with the desktop.
REPEAT:
All control has to stay with the desktop, otherwise it will not work.
Controllers have to stay disconnected, otherwise it will throw you back into the Cliff House
Hope this helps, and please,.....Microsoft,.....GET IT FIXED !!!
My setup:
Samsung Odyssey+
Win 10 v21H1 (Os Build 19043.1055), i7-9750H, Nvidia RTX 2060, 32GB

Hi N.R.N
The issue with the 180-video format (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OeeILkt880) is now fixed in version 2.4.9 . The 360-viewer is updated automatically so you should try again and it should work. Yeah, majority of Kpop VR videos are in 180-format and they all look awesome in VR headset now :)
Apologies for the late update - we are still investigating the issues some of you are experiencing.
Warrie, MonkeyBastard, RalfKlengel, and Archer Six, if any of you would be willing to take a TTTrace on your machine, please email me at *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and I can send instructions. We have not been able to reproduce the issue, so it's likely something specific with your hardware setup that is different than ours. A TTTrace will allow us to debug through your exact scenario.

Sometimes VR videos play normally when I click on “Reset” in the OpenXR settings but this is not consistent. I’m still messing around with this to try to find a way to get the VR videos to play consistently: clicking "Reset" on the desktop/no VR running, with VR running, with Canary browser open/closed on desktop, open/closed in VR, etc. So far I haven't found a consistent way to get this to work.
If they do not play normally, I’ll either get the four spinning balls or the video will play but the controllers are unresponsive while the video is playing except for the Windows button that brings up the VR dashboard menu to exit out of the video.
