Chinese characters disappear when editing a pdf file on Microsoft Edge

Can someone help me with this.

I want to edit a pdf file on Microsoft Edge. It was fine with the English language; but I can't type Chinese characters, like they just disappear.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    You make my day!

    Though the solution is still not perfect, when the PDF with Chinese comment added sent to others, if they click on the Chinese character comment, the text will be gone again. Afterall, we cannot ask everyone receives the PDF to have the flag enabled on his/her Edge browser.

    I really think Microsoft should fix the issue via Edge upgrade.

    Just adding my voice to the thread. I remember sending a bug report years ago and it is sad to see it is still an issue. I have the language already installed on both Windows and Edge.

    Please fix the new version. It quite inconvenient for studying since I could type in Chinese for translation

    As of 9/13/2022, I take the steps to add Chinese to the language but the result is same, the textbox disappear if I type in Chinese characters.. but stays if I type in English words. Thanks tho!

    I will go ahead to continue to use Kami.
