new Edge chromium pen & ink settings

Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.

The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.

Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.

What happened to the choices?

Are there settings to change them?

Do I have to do a screen shot first?

Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

    The latest version of Edge has bought back pen support as far as I can tell on my PC. Pen colors and size has been added back, but there are still no highlighter or pencil options.

    What are you talking about? Do you even have the latest version? I recently upgraded to the new and supposedly improved Microsoft Edge and it's missing the Pen button at the top of the browser that always goes next to where the web address would be typed and I looked through the Settings as well and I absolutely positively cannot find the Drawing tools anymore. I've used the drawing tools for several videos of mine I uploaded to show screenshots I took and to point out something specific. Now I can't unless I take a screenshot and go through the longer process of going on Photoshop to make these changes.

    RIght now you can only ink in a pdf and you have no control on the pen color or size (or it is well hidden). 

    Totally worthless, going back to old Edge. If it incorporates inking properly (i.e. identical or better then in previous edge) I might try it again, but for now I will keep Chrome as my default browser and edge as my pdf annoter...

    If at least they would have kept the old edge available (without a registry hack) I might have ditched chrome, since the new edge seems like a good clone, but for now I will ignore that hack and ignore the new edge all together, until they force feed it to us in an update.

    i was also looking for solution found one 

    for those who are not able to find any solution please give a try to KAMI PDF extension which is available in the chrome and edge extension store. you can write on pdf with plenty of colour choice and eraser funtion is very similar to that of edge's pdf reader. 

    UPDATE 

    Or download the edge canary which now has many colors options
