new Edge chromium pen & ink settings

Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.

The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.

Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.

What happened to the choices?

Are there settings to change them?

Do I have to do a screen shot first?

Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

    I'm a happy camper now.

    Got the old version back.

    I'll try the new one again later if that feature is offered.

    I also have the same issue, why, if the functions were on the previous version, have they not been left on the new version? I also cannot access the multi page function. I have been marking exam papers using it and it was going great, then school upgraded Edge and now its a pain and I am not able to go back to the legacy version.

    Please please please put those features into the new Edge as they were fantastic.

    Does Microsoft look at these posts or are we just complaining amongst ourselves. Microsoft has not responded to this issue at all. I originally purchased the Surface for this function and then they go and disable it!

    I have to agree.  The Chromium version seems to be a step back in functionality.  No longer have the ability to read .epub documents and no longer have the ability to make notes or edit (functionally with different colors and line widths of .PDF files.

    What a way to "unimprove" the awesome functionality of the Surface platform!
