I did the same , reset Edge, downloaded and reinstalled Edge - same problem.

Starting today (1/4/2022), whenever I click on a news article in the New Tab page, the Microsoft Start page is displayed instead. How do I stop that from happening?

2022-01-04T19:11:12+00:00 niether solution that carlos posted work. MS needs to fix ASAP. I even downloaded a MS patch that doesn't work either.Don't like what ever they did.

2022-01-04T19:10:55+00:00 I haven't upgraded to Windows 11 yet. This is happening for me in Windows 10 latest version. AND it just started today (I haven't updated anything since 12/15/2021 and it was successful).
