Mine is OK.

Not mine, it is black, it is still an open issue on the blog too.

Did you see it while typing before pressing enter ?

Same here. The characters typed in the Search Box are black. But when I click on an empty area in File Explorer window, the characters turn white.

Well, that was smooth, painless & uneventful.  Yes, Settings font is fixed.

For myself, Search does not crash.

Thanks for the update...I'm in the middle of a move at present (damned lousy timing), and since the printer was basically a doorstop presently...I moved it, but the PCs haven't gone with it.  Hope the fix works for me as well...

OK, got it now. Yes, mine is also black, but the suggestions are white.
