Preparing for Insider Preview Builds of Windows 11 - ***UPDATED 6/28***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    Believe that insiders, who for so long have collaborated hard with the advancement and correction of an OS since its inception, today can be excluded from a new version of Windows due to minimum requirements that we know we have (as shown by our own machine) and to place ourselves (in my case) that by having a 7th generation i7 processor, it is completely disrespecting our work and collaboration. I meet all the other requirements, not just the minimums but the recommended ones. However, PC Health continues to insist that I do not comply with them ... Because of a Generation of a Processor? I am ashamed of MS for the way we are treated. I'm sorry to tell you that many, but thousands, will choose to RECOMMEND THAT THE NEW OPERATING SYSTEM NOT BE INSTALLED. With your absurd demands you must understand that a bad decision made has its consequences. The companies we support will support our recommendations. Sorry MS. If they tried to launch an Operating System with such requirements and place an application that will check if we are suitable and it is failed, we will not want to think that it will be Windows 11. It is anger and frustration what you feel, after having collaborated since 2007 to date , with you.

    Hi, im having the same message.

    ok, i have the tpm enabled. still giving me the same error.

    'i have a nvidia gefocre gtx 1050  ti.

    amd ryzen 7 1800xz eight core processor.

    64 bit windows 10 machine.

    I have a few PCs and all desktops seem fine (once I switched on TMP by enabling the Intel PTT in the BIOS) --- but my Surface Go (tablet, Gen 1) is showing as NOT compatible :-(

    It has 2-core 1.6GHz processor, 8GB RAM, DirectX 12, 128GB internal hard disk, TPM enabled, etc. but shows as not able to go onto Windows 11 --- where this is exactly the type of device that really needs Windows 11.

    Is there something I am missing, or is the Surface Go (tablet) not able to run Windows 11 - and therefore forcing those of us with them to upgrade to get the improvements around touch, etc. - or is there a Firmware/Driver Upgrade that will come to enable it in the coming months?

    Also, it would be really helpful if the screen showing that it is NOT compatible actually showed WHY it was making that decision.

    I have enough specifications to run Windows 11.

    My system:

    Nvidia Geforce 940MX

    Intel i5 7200U

    8GB DDR4 RAM

    Samsung 860EVO SSD

    UEFI: Supported

    Secure boot: Enabled

    TPM: Enabled and version 2.0

    Free space: 115GiB

    15.6" screen

    1366x768 resolution.

    What is wrong then?

    A lot of people seem to be confused by seeing that their system isn't compatible with Windows 11 while this is easily fixed by enabling TPM in their BIOS settings. My suggestion therefore is to make this clearer on the system requirements page.

    Nope, i just opend it at BIOS, but it still says not compatible
