***UPDATE***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    I don't understand how the reply to this question is even helpful I don't see anything in there that I don't have unless I'm mistaken

    Beware that app should not install anything but leaves behind unwanted/unnecessary icon settings. There's a way to remove the setting but removes other icons as well.

    This is from the author of whynotw11, use at your own risk

    "You can remove the listing by

    1. Open Regedit
    2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify
    3. Delete IconsStream and PastIconsStream

    Then

    1. Log out and back in

    or

    1. Run cmd
    2. Run taskkill /f /im explorer.exe in cmd
    3. Run explorer.exe in cmd"
