2021-07-06T08:40:01+00:00 First of all just check to see if there is a firmware update to take it from 1.2 to 2.0. Thats how i got mine updated. Looked just like it does when the bios does an update!
Thanks
<Mike
Thanks Mike, opened device manager and to my surprise it had updated itself to 2.0. Top advice

2021-07-06T08:36:42+00:00 Thank you for your answer. I'm aware of the TPM module, but this is not available at the moment - I guess sold out. Looked at some boards which have slots for the module. Funny enough, my older board has TPM 1.2 available, which is the only one out of my collection
On my shop build with an Intel i3 9100F the mobo has a TPM header but no module. The first run of the specification tool failed because of no TPM. I went into the bios and turned on Intel Platform TT and retested. This time it showed as having TPM and passed the test for Windows 11 specs.
Thank you for the info. This is actually great news, as both boards looked at have TPM headers
