Preparing for Insider Preview Builds of Windows 11 - ***UPDATED 6/28***

Windows 11 raises the bar for security by requiring hardware that can enable protections like Windows Hello, Device Encryption, virtualization-based security (VBS), hypervisor-protected code integrity (HVCI) and Secure Boot. The combination of these features has been shown to reduce malware by 60% on tested devices. To meet the principle, all Windows 11 supported CPUs have an embedded TPM, support secure boot, and support VBS and specific VBS capabilities.

I have a Surface Go 2 purchased early this year from Microsoft Store. is an M3 core and the CPU is listed as compatible. I am not sure in Windows Insider say is not compatible to Win 11.

Manufacturer- Dell Inspiron 7559 CPU- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz @ 4 Cores Intel HD Graphics 530 - 4GB Memory and Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M - Dedicated 4GB Memory RAM- 8.00 GB BIOS- UEFI Secure Boot Enabled Direct X -12 & WDDM-2.1 Storage- 256GB SSD + 1 TB HDD TPM - 2.0 Display- 1080p Internet connection and Microsoft account is already setup. Operating System- Windows 10 Home 21H1, Build- 19043.1081, Experience- Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0. Whatever the latest available today. My laptop exceeds all the requirements, I don't see why it is not eligible for windows 11. Its a gaming laptop and can still play most games properly. It should easily handle an upgrade to windows 11. Plz remove the CPU limitations if all these requirements are met. Because their is no security concern in providing an operating system upgrade to these machines. I even tried it in virtual machine & its running just fine.

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.
