For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    if you go to disk management ,check the properties of youre main drive
    there you can see if its MBR or GPT ( as shown in the Screenshot)

    Worth a read to clarify some of the system requirements

    Update on Windows 11 minimum system requirements

    FWIW this morning to my surprise, it decided to ignore the TPM 2.0 requirement (or any TPM at all for that matter) and download and install W11.

    So this statement "In support of the Windows 11 system requirements, we’ve set the bar for previewing in our Windows Insider Program to match the minimum system requirements for Windows 11, with the exception for TPM 2.0 and CPU family/model." from the linked page appears to be incorrect.

    I'm pretty sure by now Microsoft has heard the message(s) very loud and very clear regarding their new hardware criteria's and to that end, as I mentioned early on that Winows11 will have to come in flavors such as Windows11 Home, Windows11 Pro, and Windows11 HS ( high security ). Really, all of us or majority of us have been running Windows10 with legacy and older machines with no problems at all and the fact that I'm running Windows11 ( 22000.51 ) with very Few issues and with out the TPM mandate, says that Microsoft most certainly can make Winows11 available in multiple versions. To build an OS that requires in some cases a large amount of money and not to mention, large amount of time to meet these Hardware criteria when existing machines have been and continue to be quite functional doesn't seem to be the way to build on customer loyalty.

    As a Post Note: Anyone remember "Windows10 will be the LAST version of Windows to be released"? It will be an open platform type of system serviced with various updates to be made as required. Let's hope that Microsoft revisits this current thinking on these restrictive items and soon.
