I was trying to complete the search challenge on Microsoft Rewards and it's not counting even though I click on it and when it took me to the search bar I just searched a couple random stuff and it still wasn't working. How do I fix this?

I have the same issue - it doesn't matter which browser is used.

    Hi, guys and girls.

It's an old thread, but still persist. I'm struggling with something similar right now.

One thing that anyone should try EVER is did "one search>one go to ms rewards balance" a couple times to see if it aren't ever counting or it is some inconsistency and count 1 at, don't know, 3 to 30 times (thats my case with Edge in my main system now).

Like i already suggested above for the ones that was more perceptive, sometimes use Bing on another device (PC, mobile or even just another browser) could help troubleshooting it: last time i got something similar a just needed to log out my Edge and access my acc on it again, but on my phone the searches were being counted normally.

To help even more to troubleshoot if it's something with your system/device or an account issue, try to signup another MS Rewards account and do some searches on your issued browser. If they work correctly (and your main acc won't "magically" start working fine after - if you log it in and out instead of use a secondary user just on browser), then you SHOULD document your tests and spam support daily until someone at least grab your issue to troubleshoot...

PS: a couple years ago i had a similar issue, but with my streak on Xbox One rewards. Took weeks and i lost my progress completly, needing to start over from scratch to pile up bonuses from daily/weekly/monthly goals, but at least support credited me with some ballance referring to the days they could look i did my part in my logs.

Another fix is to just stop using EDGE and use Chrome as it works perfect in Chrome.

So I just saw this article - I guess this explains a lot . . . so unless you have an XBox I guess you will get very little.

    Hi Justin

I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I'll do my best to help you. I can see here that you're having some concern about counting points on your MS Rewards.

Rewards may take up some time and it may take up to 24 hours to refresh or update. But if the issue still persists, please reach the MS Rewards support from the link below:
