I'm opening emails and Outlook and it is not being counted or accounted for in the rewards. As for this morning, I've opened up 6 /6 emails and none have been rewarded so it's still 0/ 3.

I found that hand typing and not just clicking groups of related words or names works and staying on results page tends to help too. The other thing is I think they mention "meaningful" searches, which in my opinion means searches they get money from other companies that shows their products. Its all a money grab.
Get them fast. I got them and got out and then they put me in again even though I was doing slow.
There are plenty of proper searches that you can do in a day that go fairly quickly. I often do today's birthdays and get a ton of results. Movies that a specific actor is in, musicians for a specific type of music. Today is day 2,543 for my streak, and I have never had any problems keeping it. I do actually spend time on each page and read it though, and I often learn cool stuff. Only takes a few seconds, which is required to get the points now anyway. I do it randomly throughout the day rather than trying to focus on getting them all done at once.
The email reading has only been out for a couple of months, so the most recent Edge update might have broken it. Seems to coincide for me.

Hmmm, it's possible, but would it only effect the email points? I'm still earning all the points in the other areas.
