I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    hello my number is 0667602114 i cant add it so i changed to another device and i cant add it too .

    I agree... Microsoft's service is incompetent and doesn't respond clearly to requests, but we'll "loo into it" lol

    yes, same problem, but for me, it dates back to November 2022. I opened with Microsoft ; they say they are investigating, but i haven't receiverd any constructive response since the mentioned date.

    Whenever I try to add a phone number to my Microsoft account, it replies with an error message. Doesn't work, and when I try to add it multiple times, it says that this verification method does not work, pls try another one. When I don't have another one. This has been a reoccurring issue since October of 2023 and I have yet to redeem any Microsoft rewards.

    I finally managed to add my phone number as an alias as required to claim my rewards.

    Very frustrating for everyone who's having this issue.

    The only thing I did differently was wait a couple of days, then tried to add my phone number using my laptop and MS Edge browser. It worked first time.

    I assume most people's issue are due to using mobile/cell phone browsers as I was doing previously to no avail.
