I over the past week all

Of my receipts have begun being declined by Microsoft Bing. All my receipts are valid and in date (within 14 days of purchase) but Microsoft has declined all of them. What is going on?

Same issue. Waiting does help because by then the receipts are either lost or thrown out. Sometimes for those that are worthy of keeping become too old to scan.

So I think this is a way for Microsoft reduce cost for themselves, by random issues that they are introducing themselves for plausible deniability. This goes hand in hand with random cool downs on counting points for searches. Their support say the same thing all the time - try again later, there is a cool down, etc etc. Basically non-action on their part.

I wouldn't be so pessimistic if it wasn't happening all the time.

I am having same problem 🙋🏻‍♀️and 🤦🏻‍♀️microsoft had the audacity to mark my support ticket- resolved!!! 🙎🏻‍♀️Such a scam!!

I went through and added up all the cancelled receipts I’ve had, over $5 in cancelled submissions🫢🤬!!!!! That doesnt even include all the receipts I just did not submit bc i felt it was a waste of time. 🤔Theyre clearly getting the info from the receipts and getting paid for it while leaving us nothing but disappointment😞, frustration😤, irritation, 😡wasted efforts,🤬 empty pockets 🚫and broken hearts💔. I have actually contacted microsoft multiple times only to get transferred to departments that are irrelevant in the matter 🎮🤹and check this out, some of the representatives(2 to be exact) did not even know what app I was talking about 🤷and one told me Microsoft doesnt have an app that scans receipts !!! Wow😳🤯🎪🎠🪤⚖️🫏💻

Same problems lately, I find it happens to every receipt that I have to type in the name of the store. You would figure they would just update their system to recognize those receipts, but no. Since it isn't worth while submitting the first time, it isn't worth my time resubmitting a second, plus I have no idea which ones were rejected nor for what cause.

    😂

So after scanning one receipt and waiting the half hour or so for it to clear and then scanning another, I finally decided to check scanning a few and waiting to see if they were accepted and they were. WOW! lol

So I went ahead the next day and scanned all 6 and all 6 were accepted about 30+ minutes later. Shocker.

BUT… the third time doing it my first two receipts were from Rite Aid and they were declined… which they’ve been accepted in the past. Scanning two more receipts covered the 2 red ❌s and were …>phew< … accepted.

Last night I scanned six receipts, one right after another and all 6 were accepted.

I’m not saying that it’s fixed but right now things are working for me and I agree on why they cannot explain why a receipt is declined.

It’s been 2 1/2 months since Microsoft support said they would get back to me blah blah blah. 🙄

I started doing the same scanning one receipt at a time. All is good so far.
