Surface Book Battery Life - what are you getting

Hi everyone,

I am not doing anything to intensive with my Surface Book.  Web, email, onenote, outlook.  I am not getting anything near 12 hours of battery life and 4 if i am lucky.

Right now it says I have 33% battery life and have an 1 hour and 26 minutes remaining??

What are you getting?

    I got my surface book last night, had to do a factory reset to set it up because someone had user name and password already set on it.  had it charging all day at work and brought the tablet part only home, two hours of screen off time and ten minutes of use and it was dead from a 100% charge. Taking it back first chance I get, closest best buy is an hour away......  not a happy camper

    If you want to add back options such as max processor state, cooling policy, you have to do so yourself, for example: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/51027-power-options-add-remove-min-max-processor-state.html

    You can then create your own customized profile. CPU and display are the two main consumer.

    But again I think you need give few days to allow the battery program to calibrate. Whatever it reports now is not accurate. Like someone else suggested, leave your laptop on and run down your battery overnight (turning off sleep) and then the number reported will be more realistic.

    If it is similar to the Surface Pro 3, it would be located: Settings -> System -> Battery Saver.

    I am also wondering how all the professional reviewers get 10-1 hours and the normal user gets 5-7.....

    I having same issue here, I read all the review Surface Book and they said they got 12 or more than 12h battery life so how did they get more than 12h???when my Surface Book or most other Surface Book user here had same issue, for me I lucky enough to get 7h battery life. I'm kinda upset because I want to work with Surface Book all day without touching the charger. 

    Microsoft support team where is Power saver mode in Battery plan option, the only thing I saw so far is balance mode with is not helpful to the battery life even I turn on Battery saver mode it still not helping me getting 12h battery as the Surface book promise in the ads.
