My type cover does not work and I left my surface aside the battery drained. I put it in the socket and the type cover worked. What will it be?

Hi:
I think I tried everything I found online
Nothing worked
After 3 days of looking around for some other posible solution, I did open a support case and I'm sending my SP4 back to MS. This looks like a firmware issue
I'll let you know the outcome when my SP4 returns... (I'm going to miss it)
Hi,
Since you have the same issue with your Surface Pro 4. Have you tried the steps provided by the MVP and the community members? What are the troubleshooting steps that you perform to address this concern? We will be waiting for your updated.
Thank you.
I'm suffering exact same symptoms with my SP4, so it's not only a SP3 problem.
This is really disappointing.
please stop the multiple postings. I've answered two of them and will delete others I find as duplicates. we understand your pain from the original bricked typecover on your SP3.
the answer is no and if you try to replace
the screen, you will probably brick your device completely. that is why
Microsoft doesn't replace broken screens, they replace with a refurb.
