Surface Book 3 Wifi Disconnecting Randomly

I've had my SB3 since the day after they became available.  I have had random wifi disconnects throughout the day, usually only 1 or 2 but they are happening daily.

I immediately check my iPad or phone that is nearby and connected to the same wifi network and have no issues accessing the internet from those devices during that time.  The only way for me to re-establish my wifi connection on my SB3 is to turn off the wifi and turn it back on.  Everything reconnects fine each time.

Yesterday, it did this as I was preparing to give a presentation to over 1,000 people -- virtually!  Are others experiencing this? Is this is a known issue already?  I just swapped over from a MacBook Pro after 10+ years in that environment and didn't have issues like this so I hope this is something easily rectified and soon or I'll be swapping back.

Thank you!

I have the same problem with my Surface Book 3.

My own WiFi disconnects within every hour or less. I am afraid to use my surface to take online exams.

    This is not cool.

Please did you find a solution yet?

    Hi Chad_TX,

Thank you for the response. For OS Build 18363, you may use the 18362 MSI file.

    Kind Regards,

    Marrion Y.

There is not a set of drivers that match my current OS build.  I have 18363 and the only file there for the SB3 is 18362.

    Hi Chad_Ri,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

No, this is not a known issue for the Surface Book 3. Please run these steps first on your Surface Book 3 then observe if the issue persist:

1: RunSurface Diagnostic Toolkit and check Windows Update

    2: Update drivers and firmware

Check what is the current OS Build of your Windows version by going to Settings > System > About.

Go to Download driver and firmware for Surface, choose Surface Book 3 then click Download on the next page.

Choose the .msi file that matches your current OS Build and click Next.

After downloading, run and install the .msi then Restart.

    3: Uninstall/Re-install driver

Open Device Manager, expand Network adapters

Right-click on the Wireless adapter of the device then choose Uninstall device

                                   Restart your Surface

4: Run System File Checker Tool in Windows 10
