Surface Pro 4 Jul 2017 Update - Type Cover not working

I updated the latest update Jul 2017 and it bricks my type cover completely. Tried everthing, from reset, volume + and power, everthing including cleaning etc. 

I just do not understand. When I did Apr 2017 update, it also half bricked it, but at least using volume+ and power helps, but now totally unusable. 

If anyone come across, this, please help.

    We need to get this to the CEO of Microsoft:

    Satya Nadella

    If he does not understand why the consumer report asked people not to buy the surface, this is one very good unresolved reason. More than a month and no one from Microsoft get back on how to resolved this.

    I am amazed at how Microsoft is reacting to this problem. Complete silence!!!

    I wonder if the CEO knows about this. Someone ought to get this to him or may be he knows. Imagine the opportunity cost!!!!

    Microsoft, I am sure you know about this. Why can't you tell us what is happening or is a fix coming? 

    Pls, we are waiting.
