Surface Pro 4 Jul 2017 Update - Type Cover not working

I updated the latest update Jul 2017 and it bricks my type cover completely. Tried everthing, from reset, volume + and power, everthing including cleaning etc.

I just do not understand. When I did Apr 2017 update, it also half bricked it, but at least using volume+ and power helps, but now totally unusable.

If anyone come across, this, please help.

Tried finding the downloads but no where to be found. Came across that Microsoft may have pulled back the updates. Will wait if they put it back.

others with this issue have done a complete reinstall from the downloadable

recovery image and it did not resolve the issue. there are other threads about

this, but so far, Microsoft has not commented or acknowledged there is an issue.

If I were you, I'd back up your files and data and let the store reinstall, and

if/when it fails to fix the issue, they can exchange it for you.

    >>They said I could leave my laptop with them for 4-5 days and they would reinstall the OS (fixing the problem) however I would need to reinstall everything.
