Does anyone still have the CalibG4.exe touch screen dead zone hotfix file for the Surface Pro 3 they could share with me? I've seen posts to the Sony support website where you used to be able to download it from, but it no longer seems active. So I've no idea how to obtain it.

Found it. It says Windows 8, but I used it on my Windows 10 and worked like a charm.

Here is the new download link.
The calibration tool is useless, it doesn't work. Some areas of my surface pro 4 display suddenly stopped accepting touch input, I think that it happened probably like 7 months ago shortly after some windows update. I never dropped my device or did anything bad to the display and it just one day randomly decided that some areas of the display won't accept touch input..
I tried everything and never managed to get it working, I even tried to reinstall the entire OS multiple times, but nothing worked.
If you have a similar issue, I don't think that there is a way to fix it. Microsoft probably somehow killed parts of the touchscreen with some software bug, and now they don't want to deal with it.

with the current link (https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/downloads/W0009338) I am able to download the calibg4 file, however, when I click on it, it only opens a black tab for a second and nothing happens. Anyone having the same problem and knows how to solve it?

That black tab you're referring to should be the command prompt app (for us old dogs also known as the DOS window). It should open, install the files/drives and automatically close out. Only took a couple of seconds on mine. After reboot my SP3 screen was working normal again for the 1st time in a year.
If this did not correct your issue you have bigger problem.
