Surface Studio - wifi and bluetooth lag and interference

I have been using my Surface Studio, and have found that whilst writing documents, there appears to be a regular (perhaps every hour or so) lag and interference, where the mouse pointer pauses on screen and catches up by jumping across the screen every 5 seconds but this goes on for a full minute. The same thing happens with the keyboard strokes. I can be typing and suddenly the same letter i had types repeats itself across the document (as if the key had been stuck down) until I press escape or delete. If your unlucky when you press delete the delete command carries on endlessly, as if it is stuck down as well, until the whole document has been deleted. This issue tends to be associated with a researching for a WIFI signal pr something like that.

Has anyone else experienced this and have you found a solution? I contacted Microsoft Support and was told that this is a known issue and will be resolved in a future update, but this was now 3 months ago and several updates since. Since no solution.

My Studio has severe bluetooth lag in the mouse. I believe it's caused by newer Windows updates as I don't think I notice it when I get the machine.

The mouse basically will work well for some time, then becomes super laggy for a couple seconds before returning to normal again. This happens frequently every day. It almost feel like the mouse will start to lag when the system is working hard (although I don't have CPU usage to back that hypothesis up).

For now, I have to plug in a wired USB mouse and retire the Surface Mouse.

Mark, I have followed your instructions and the problem has not been resolved. in fact it has prompted another problem to appear, where the Camera will not turn on for Windows Hello face recognition, and I now have to input my PIN every time I return to the PC. I have looked for resolution to this issue also, and those listed don't work to resolve this issue either, are pointless and a waste of time. Why is it that such issues cannot just be sorted out once and for all with an update? Its almost like a conspiracy to keep IT personnel fully employed by writing prolems into the software so that they are employed again to resolve it and create another issue.
