Unable to load "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in Microsoft Store

I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Go for travel, and although I'm enjoying it thus far there is a need to switch out of S Mode to install one or two additional programs. I've followed all of the steps to reach the "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in the Microsoft Store, however, the page never loads. Instead, it shows a blank store screen. Is there any other method to reach this area of the store?

Additionally, I've tried prior to updating Windows and after updating Windows with no luck.

Bought a new Surface Go 128GB / 8GB. After a few days of use I wanted to switch out of S mode. The store page was there, however the leave - button did not react (I could press it but nothing happened).

I tried everything I found on the web. Restart store etc. Nothing helped.

I also found I could not download anything else from the store. I could install apps I already owned but whenever I wanted to use the download - button, it did not react.

In the end the following solution helped for me: I reset the tablet using windows recovery WITHOUT keeping personal stuff (already tried with keeping personal stuff without success), so a complete re-install.

After this, I needed to configure everything as it has to be done with a new Windows. After this, the first I tried was entering the shop and switch out od S mode - and it worked.

It's so frustrating, I can't even load my stuff from my old laptop onto the new one! Let alone actually use it for work, which is what it was purchased for, because i can't put any programs I need on it! Agggh!!

Unfortunately no magic switch over on my Acer 😞

Have tried many different ways to get to switch out page but to no avail, still not working

It's ridiculous that a simple switch is not that simple at all!!
