Surface Pro 7 Overheating when charging

So I've purchased and exchanged 3 brand new surface pro 7s in the last 20 days from best buy because of this issue. Everytime I plugged in the charger, within 5 mins, the backside of the Surface pro 7 starts overheating to an uncomfortable temperature. This was the case for the last 2 Surface Pro 7s as well. Their respective lot number was 1945 and 1943. I'm beginning to wonder if this is an issue with this particular batch ... Is there any answers for this?

    This is not the place to talk to MS about it. this is a forum to help users. I'm annoyed, though installing the new may 2020 update through the insider system (just wait a few weeks if you don't know what that is) seems to have resolved it for me! I've had proper fast charging and no issues since installing it. 

    THAT BEING SAID IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO MS ABOUT THIS ISSUE OR ANOTHER ONE THERE IS A FEEDBACK HUB APP IN YOUR START MENU. that is where you can send info and issues directly to MS' developers. Give it a go!

    Mine will freeze and I have to hold the power button until it resets, then let it cool down before restarting it. Haven't done the freezer. I'd be worried about humidity.

    I'm having the same issue as exactly desccribed by @KheirulMohamed. This is my corperate PC (Surface Pro 7) and the 3rd one because other two Surface Pro 6 too had the same issue. I'm utterly disappointed about Surface Pro expereince and next time, I will never go with Surface Pro.

    I'm Running Surface Pro 7 - USB-C hub that connects external monitor. i dont really have an issue with temp. however maybe run Task Manager to see if anything in particular is running high?

    When you run it and dont see anything too weird, try loking at "more Details" section at the bottom left of that screen and going to "Startup" and see if anything is enabled that shouldnt be. that might help keep it down. lastly i assume you arent using cases with the tablets?

    Well I would if I could get past all the setup when you initially turn it on but I cant even get past that so idk what to do and my first post I had a typo It has a 10th gen i5
