Unfortunately driver installation didn't help either. At this point I haven't found any solutions. I simply can't believe Microsoft haven't address this issue as this is quite an expensive product.

I have read many posts and made many attempts to correct this problem without any success.
I was traveling for 3 months and when I returned the battery was completely dead.
Also, each night since my return, the battery drains as much as 12% overnight while shutdown.
I have all MS updates but the problem continues.
Please advise.

2018-02-27T18:03:51+00:00 You can try an (unsupported) experiment. First, create a manual restore point (make sure System Restore is turned on). Then, go to the Intel site and download the generic video driver for your system. You will need the zip file and will need to browse to the INF file in device manager and manually install.
The Intel generic drivers don't have all the Connected Standby customizations. Compare battery performance.
Don't fiddle in the registry..
