Hi Bryan,
I think your attitude is sincere, but here is an urgent one I'd like your solution.
I got a replacement becase of the flickering issue in Feb 2017 and found that the new one got the same flickering screen issue last year (2018). However, I left US by then and haven't got any chance to walk in and replace. I reported the issue one year
ago and only got a friend to bring the laptop to US yesterday.
He told me that the staff member in your store has no idea of the issue at first. After my friend showed the receipt and flickering vedio, your people said it is not within 3 year because the calculation will be based on my ''first' purchasing time,
not the 2017 replacement time.
Can you explain? IF Microsoft had correct the issue the first time I brought the laptop in and got me a good one, rather than a flawed one AGAIN, I won't suffer so much in this trouble. What pissed me off a lot is that in the company level, you seems
still hiding and not willing to admit the flaws and take responsibility.
So can your company admit that the product is a failure and act on that concensus?
In the store, your staff acted as if I want to take advantage of your beloved company and as if I 'pretend' to be the victim. I am really sick of this.
MS can spend $30 bn to repurchase it's stock, yet has no courage to treat its customers fairly. Why?
I tell you that it is not over.
I could get rid of the laptop at much lower cost by selling it to other families, but still, that will me feel guilty and sick because they don't know the issue and might fall victim by using your "high quality" product.
So could you please let the flawed products end up in your own hand?
I've shared my experience with my friends in Harvard, UC Berkeley, Michigan U, and UT Austin, etc.. I convinced them that we should never trust a hardware coming from MS. But I know that's far from enough. There must be something that we can do so eventually
you will be held accountable.
Have a good day and look forward to your reply.
