Surface Pro 4, Screen Flickering, Shaking

I purchased SP4 device a few months ago and it was working fine for a month. Then I noticed that when the CPU is at its max, the screen flickers a bit. Investigating further revealed that it flickers even if it is setting idle. It does not flicker if at least one of the following thing is done:

  1. A video being played in browser 
  2. If I keep the touch screen busy by either taping it or keeping a finger on it
  3. If I use the touchpad
  4. If keyboard is used for typing

This resulted in making the device completely unusable while reading articles or ebooks. I am a developer, most of the time I have to read the code and to do that, I have to constantly keep a finger on the touch pad or the screen. I contacted surface support in October and November and was told that the developers are working on the patch. Looking at the updates the developers are pushing since then, I don't think anyone is even aware of the problem there.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same problem (and the fix) and if not, what's the procedure for the refund? I will rather go for a mac then sacrificing $2000+ for a dancing screen.

    I informed myself about how to proceed for replacement, and I notice that MS is not truthfull.  MS puts all sort of totally dictatorial conditions so that it should not have to fullfill the replacement.  My surface pro 4 is only 26 month old and it was - honestly - rubish.  First I had continuously problems with contact between keybord and screen.  The touch of my screen never worked well.  Recently, one month ago, the handle on the back broke, without any reason but just normal use.   Now I have this flickering problem.

    The breaking of the handle on the back is now for MS a reason not to take their responsability.   Any reason is good.  I find it revolting that MS does not take its reponsability.  Next time I buy an Apple.

    I am very angry!!

    the screen flickeing goes worse every day for me. even when I am copying a file from SP4  the screen start to flicker. I don't know how I have paied for a rubish??? 

    I ask MS to pay me back.

    replacing SP4 bu another SP4 which has the same problem is not a costumer service. it is just wasting our time to finish the vanaty period. so we wast our time and money. Thant is it, MS wants to take time to until finishe the varanty period without resolving the problem.

    MS must payback our money or replace with a good product.

    Is there anyone how has replace SP4 by a new version of SP or succseful to give back the money?
