For anyone having an issue charging like I did try try getting a new charger. I’m not sure what happened to mine but I bought a new one and haven’t had an issue since.
Hi Jacob,
I just want to know. Was your surface on 0% when it was not charging?

Hello, I noticed today my surface book 2 does not charge while plugging in the charger. I tried both while docking the keyboard in laptop mode and in tablet mode but both does not show any indication of charging. I also noticed the charger does not light up that white led to indicate charging.

I don't think this is a good idea. It might have worked for you. But for me when I bought a new charger, the new charger got damaged itself by my faulty Surface charging circuit!

contact MS their repair dept. has to know what is going wrong with these or they are hiding it as they want to deal with it on a case by case basis.
I used to work in a electronic returns dept. and we knew things but wouldn't publish them as public as not all were going to fail and/or the company wanted to minimize their losses as much as they could.
So far mine is still working trouble free, knock on wood....
I am sure they know
Its just they dont care to fix
Its a disgrace
They probably are thinking well only 10-20% (made up #) are complaining even though even more may be experiencing but we just wont spend time or money to fix whats broken until even more people are complaining (or maybe still not even then).
