I just purchased by laptop yesterday. The battery is very low and it had been plugged in overnight and did not charge.
Please advise.

Hello, I noticed today my surface book 2 does not charge while plugging in the charger. I tried both while docking the keyboard in laptop mode and in tablet mode but both does not show any indication of charging. I also noticed the charger does not light up that white led to indicate charging.

Hello,
I purchased by surface book 2 a little over 6 months ago and the charger has stopped working as well. I have run through the troubleshooting steps and nothing seems to work. I messaged a page on facebook about help and they ran me through some steps and suggested I visit a Microsoft store but there are none located remotely near me. I would love some assistance.
Contact support and have them send you a replacement AC adapter. In the mean time, use a usb C power source if you have one...

That is interesting. I just returned a Lenovo and was looking at the SB2. The Lenovo X1E arrived with a display defect out of the box, for which I immediately contacted them. They told me that I could ship it back for replacement or have the display repaired onsite. Since I had already waited a week to receive it and shipping it back and waiting for another would take several more weeks (they don't do advanced replacement), I opted to have it replaced on site. Lenovo gave me a case number and said someone would be in touch with me in a couple of days. That never happened. Over the next few weeks, I had several phone calls, emails, DM's etc. with Lenovo where they claimed they would "escalate" my case and make sure that someone reached out to me to have the display replaced. It never happened, so on day 27, I returned my X1E before the 30 days ran out. I am now looking for a replacement machine. I am not sure what it will be, but it definitely won't be another Lenovo. In the meantime, I am using my older SP which has so far been problem free. But from my own experience, Lenovo customer support is beyond bad.
