Surface Dock USB ports not working - Dock Updater repeatedly fails

I have Surface book 13.5, and Surface Dock. USB ports on the dock are not working.

Running Surface Dock updater says I need to power cycle the dock, although I already did it several times.

Event viewer reports error code 12105, with message: "Failed to update USB hub firmware."

I think your best option at this point is to exchange your dock, sorry.

I don't see the version and build from Winver. Please repost this.

    Hi Barb,

    Here are my logs:

    https://1drv.ms/u/s!AptlAPQnDv9Ug7MRz8S4iya\_Zk2biQ

    Here is my winver

I've cleared all as suggested.  Also did this through clipboard with dock attached and same error.

    Thank you.

    Joel

The clipboard/screen, when detached has a Surface Connect port - plug the cable

that goes from the dock into that.
