Is there a solution to rollback the update or go to previous version? Any image of device firmware with previous version? It would be great.

Or is there a official microsoft hotfix update to patch and fix the problem?

I used Microsoft's instructions to install the recovery image for the Duo 2.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface-recovery-image

It did not work. It installed build 2023.425.15 and the problem persists. I don't know of any other officially supported methods for installing a different build.

For users who have problems associated with charging, what is your "Build Number?"

Go to setting ->About->scroll to the bottom.

Why? I do not have problems when charging my Duo 1 (I only have the problem when VPN is used when on Wi-Fi. So it is easy to stop crashes until a patch comes. "Patience is a virtue," but....)

My Duo 1 Build Number is 2022.829.13, which I read is "the" known culprit. Of course, Duo 2's build is probably different, so post that too.)

I certainly believe your charging problems. I'm just wonder if it a particular build.

I gather less than 20% of Duos are "lucky" to have this build.

    Anyone?

How do I find the build number when the duo won't even boot? Also, I am now 4 months out of warranty....

If you don't mind, maybe start another thread for your Windows 11 problem on your ASUS laptop. OK?

This thread for the Surface Duo 1 and 2.

And we have enough problems as it is. :-(

I think I'm having same problem with my windows 11 on ASUS VIVOBOOK.

When i turn on my vpn or proxy it signs out automatically, or if i shutdown or restart windows it takes several times too boot and none of recovery options works ( restore, reset..).

I think it's a security update that mess with something in devices.
