Surface Duo 2 - permanent reboots after Update may 30 2023

DId anyone else experience random shutdowns and/or reboots not coming up again after the update may 30 2023? Display showing the option of retrying oder factory reset.

Saw also some postings on reddit regarding this new issue.

Thank you for your patience while we have investigated Surface Duo devices that would restart after the May 30th, 2023 update. The June 26th, 2023 update improves system stability. See Update Surface Duo for more info on how to update your Surface Duo or Surface Duo 2.

    No vpn dit it for me

    Now 3 dat working without reboot

    Try manually reset the wifi and Bluetooth, reboot manually,

    Then it should Work without charge.

    It eventually revived itself somehow. But I'm in the same boat as you. It won't stay on if it's not plugged in. I've given up trying any more fixes. I don't want to risk the problem getting worst.

    If hold the restart and reboot using safe mode the phone works fine for me but most of the non microsoft apps don't work. Able to use BT and WIFI.

    Just now seeing these post on the VPN BT and WIFI and trying those after regular reboot. I also deleted my VPN app. Well report back.
