Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6.

What a bone-headed move by Microsoft!  I want this product to succeed as much as the rest of you, but man, someone really dropped the ball on this one.  Photoshop is an industry standard.  Why would Microsoft not want it to be fully functional on their device?

Starting a new thread since Microsoft has abandoned the original one. Last we heard was that Hugo would ask that a beta driver be released. There was no follow up from Hugo or anyone from Microsoft.

Microsoft folks, why won't you give us meaningful updates?

I would like Microsoft to make special arrangements for those of us past the return date to return these devices for a full refund since they do not work as promised and the promised driver has not arrived. Speaking for myself, I bought this device in good faith, no disclosure was made that Adobe products would not work with pressure sensitivity and since that was a primary reason for selecting this device rather than something else and buying a separate Wacom tablet. Since no driver is available and Microsoft refuses to supply information or a beta driver, I would like to move on.

That's good information, though the wintab api is certainly intimidating. What I'd imagine would be a good first step is to wrap the wintab calls with some sort of logging layer and use it on a Wacom tablet. Then draw in photos a bit, and you'd see what parts actually need to be rewritten.

The Photoshop plugin api isn't looking too promising so far. I don't see it ever exposing a way to do actual brush strokes programmatically.

i dont know anything about coding or programming . and i know it's hard so that's why i admit will donate $50 who public a WORKING  driver  . it will bit Microsoft so hard. microsoft make me so disappointed about them few years ago.
